Additional features of the Vtech CS6949 include caller ID and call waiting, ECO mode power-conserving technology, quiet mode, call block, 9 number speed dial, and up to 50 phonebook entries. The system is compatible with Vtech IS6200 cordless headsets and AT&T TL80133 speakerphones.

Intercom functionality between handsets, mute option, message retrieval from the handset, and wall mountable design make this phone system convenient and user-friendly. The battery included is 2.4V 300mAh Ni-MH for reliable power.
