It features a 5-step charging process and can provide either 30A or 50A of charge to each of the three battery banks. The Phoenix 1+1 model offers 3A to the starter battery and the remaining charge to the 'house' bank. With a 24V model, you can enjoy a charge of either 16A or 25A.

• Storage Mode: Reduces float voltage to minimize gassing and corrosion when the battery is not in use. Prevents stratification of the electrolyte and sulphation.
• Charges Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries: Charger on-off control can be implemented by connecting a relay or open collector optocoupler output from a Li-ion BMS to the remote on-off port. Full control of voltage and current is achievable with Bluetooth.
• Fully programmable charge algorithm: The charge algorithm can be programmed using Bluetooth or the VE.Direct interface. Three preprogrammed algorithms can be selected with the mode button.
• Optional external battery voltage and temperature sensing via Bluetooth: Communicate battery voltage and temperature to one or more Phoenix Smart IP43 Chargers using Smart Battery Sense or BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor.
• Remote on-off: Provides terminals for remote on/off switch or relay contact. Can be pulled high or low for remote control.
• VE.Direct interface: Allows wired data connection to a Color Control panel, PC, or other devices.
