The Victron Energy ORI121217040 Orion XS Smart 12/12 50A DC-DC Charger is a versatile charger that can be used as a battery charger or as a power supply with a wide input and output voltage range. It features a four-stage charge algorithm that increases battery life by properly charging the battery.

Especially useful for vehicles with Euro 5 or 6 smart alternators, this charger ensures controlled charging to prevent overloading the alternator in lithium systems. The Smart BuckBoost can be set to supply power only when the engine is running, thanks to integrated engine shutdown detection.

In power supply mode, the output voltage remains stable regardless of the load or fluctuating input voltage. The output voltage is fully adjustable and independent of the input voltage, ensuring controlled charging and protection for your batteries.
