• Special setting for Li-ion batteries: Compatible with VE.Bus BMS, the BatteryProtect can be controlled by it. It can also be used as a charge interrupter between a battery charger and a Li-ion battery.
• Ultra-low current consumption: Designed to be efficient, the BatteryProtect minimizes power consumption, making it ideal for Li-ion batteries, especially after low voltage shutdown.
• Over-voltage protection: To safeguard sensitive loads, the BatteryProtect disconnects the load when the DC voltage exceeds 16V (for 12V systems) or 32V (for 24V systems).
• Ignition proof: Equipped with MOSFET switches instead of relays, the BatteryProtect eliminates sparks and ensures safety.
• Delayed alarm output: The alarm output is activated if the battery voltage drops below the preset disconnect level for more than 12 seconds. It is short-circuit proof and can be used to activate a buzzer, LED, or relay.
• Delayed load disconnect and reconnect: The load is disconnected 90 seconds after the alarm is activated. If the battery voltage increases to the connect threshold within this time period, the load will not be disconnected. The load will be reconnected 30 seconds after the battery voltage surpasses the preset reconnect voltage.
