Product Description

The Tripp Lite PDUMH20HVATS power distribution unit (PDU) is a single-phase 20A ATS PDU that distributes and monitors network-grade power in real time. It is designed for network IT applications, small computer rooms, and other equipment rack applications. This metered PDU features eight C13 and two C19 200-240V outlets for connecting equipment. The outlets are factory-programmed for sequential turn-on at 250-millisecond intervals to prevent inrush-related equipment interaction at startup.

The PDUMH20HVATS switches from the primary to the secondary power source within milliseconds. It comes with dual 12-foot power cables with C20 inputs that connect to separate primary and secondary mains circuits, backup generators, UPS systems, or utility power grids. The dynamic solid-state automatic transfer switching (ATS) ensures uninterrupted operation of connected equipment by switching to the secondary source in 2-5 milliseconds in case of primary source failure or instability. An on-board ATS processor constantly evaluates the power quality of both input sources to prevent switching if the secondary source is unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source.

The digital load meter of the PDUMH20HVATS helps prevent potentially expensive overloads by reporting the total load for all connected equipment. Monitoring amperage ensures that load levels remain well below maximum capacity, avoiding downtime or damaged equipment. The PDU mounts into 1U of rack space and includes the necessary mounting hardware for easy installation in an EIA-standard 19-inch rack.

The PDUMH20HVATS is TAA-compliant, making it eligible for GSA Schedule and other federal procurement contracts. It is a 3.8kW 200-240V single-phase ATS/metered PDU with 8 C13 and 2 C19 outlets, dual C20 inlets, and 12 ft. cords. The product is designed to provide reliable power distribution and monitoring for various applications.
