The Transition Networks SBFTF1013-105-NA Fiber Media Converter is a high-performance networking device that allows you to extend your network distance up to 120km. It provides conversion and integration solutions for both half and full-duplex environments. With support for 10Mbps or 100Mbps on all TP ports, including fiber, this media converter offers versatile connectivity options.

Featuring Auto-Negotiation (802.3u) technology, this media converter allows devices to automatically configure and achieve the best mode of operation over a link. It also offers AutoCross functionality, which detects and configures the twisted pair port on the converter to the correct MDI or MDI-X configuration.

The Transition Networks SBFTF1013-105-NA Fiber Media Converter is equipped with Link Pass Through, a troubleshooting feature that monitors both the fiber and copper RX ports for loss of signal. It also supports Far End Fault (FEF), which notifies both end devices of a loss of link when used in conjunction with Link Pass Through. Additionally, this converter features Automatic Link Restoration, ensuring link re-establishment in all network conditions.

With its 10/100BASE-TX RJ-45 to 100BASE-FX conversion capability, this media converter enables seamless connectivity between different network types. The fiber optic connector is SC, and it supports networking standards defined by IEEE 802.3.
