The PPI A7004D Atom 700W Max 4Ch Class D Amp is a high-performance amplifier that combines reliability and a compact footprint. It is an upgraded version of the original ATOM and iOn platforms, featuring several key improvements. The signal inputs, power ground, and speaker connections have been relocated to the chassis's leading edge, allowing for a more comfortable and visually appealing installation. The preamp and crossover options are conveniently located on the backside of the amplifier. The circuit board has also been enhanced with improved power supply and output stage components, as well as monoblock bridging capability. The unique installation design of the ATOM amplifier utilizes mounting pedestals at each corner, elevating the heatsink and improving airflow around and underneath the chassis. Rubber grommets under and inside each pedestal electrically isolate the amplifier chassis from the vehicle chassis, reducing the potential for ground loop noise.
