The Ocean Signal 740s-01551 MOB1 RescueME AIS Man Overboard Locator is the world's smallest AIS (Automatic Identification System) MOB (Man Overboard) device with integrated DSC. It is specifically designed to be compatible with even the most compact inflatable life-jackets, ensuring maximum safety without compromising comfort.

When installed within the life-jacket, the MOB1 activates automatically upon inflation, sending the first alert within 15 seconds. Its integrated strobe light further enhances visibility in low light conditions, increasing the chances of a swift rescue.

The MOB1 communicates with the vessel you have been separated from and other vessels in the vicinity, with a range of up to 5 miles (dependent on conditions). For alerting rescue authorities, the rescueME PLB1, an alternative product, communicates directly via a dedicated search and rescue satellite network.

In emergency situations, the Ocean Signal 740s-01551 MOB1 provides two methods of rapidly communicating your position back to the vessel. Its built-in GPS ensures accurate location transmission to your vessel and any others that may be assisting. Additionally, it can activate the DSC alarm on your vessel's VHF, promptly alerting your crew to the situation.
