The Mastervolt 83309002 Charge Mate Pro 90 is an advanced charging solution designed to effectively distribute charger or alternator current between two battery banks. It is ideal for leisure and professional marine and mobile applications that require prioritized or current limited charging.

The Charge Mate Pro 90 features a current limited electronic charge relay with high efficiency and reverse current protection. It connects both batteries during charging and keeps them isolated when discharging, significantly reducing the risk of a flat starter battery. The primary battery, such as a starter battery, is charged with priority, and the return current is automatically blocked even when the secondary battery has a higher voltage.

With the Charge Mate Pro 90, you can connect a secondary battery, like a bow thruster battery, to a service battery. This ensures that the service battery is always charged with priority, while blocking the return current from the bow thruster battery to guarantee its charge. The current limiting feature prevents power dips in the onboard electrical network.

The Charge Mate Pro 90 offers a higher charge current, making it suitable for charging Lithium-Ion batteries. It is also compatible with large automotive alternators up to 180 A and can be used in parallel operation with a 225 Amp alternator to fulfill even higher continuous power demands.
