The Icy Dock MB840M2P-B Tougharmor M.2 NVMe SSD PCIe 3.0X4 is a high-performance storage solution designed to accommodate M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs of various lengths, including 2230 (30mm), 2242 (42mm), 2260 (60mm), 2280 (80mm), and 22110 (110mm). It features a tool-less drive installation design, allowing for easy drive maintenance. The removable drive tray and low profile design enable multiple bays to be installed side-by-side in a modular design.

The MB840M2P-B utilizes a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface, which can be installed into PCIe 3.0/4.0 x4, x8, and x16 slots. It can be easily installed into a single-width full-height/half-height PCIe expansion slot. The Eagle-hook lock system ensures that the drive remains secure in the enclosure, while the EMI Grounding protects the hard drives from electrical damage.

With Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT), the MB840M2P-B reduces noise and protects against environmental damage. The Active Power Technology (APT) saves power by shutting down the device when no drive is installed. The PCIe interface provides both power and data transfer, reducing cable clutter.

The built-in thermal pad conducts heat from the drive to the metal tray, ensuring optimal cooling. Additionally, the MB840M2P-B offers an optional HDD activity signal output, allowing you to transfer the drive activity signal to the computer case.
