One of the standout features of the Platinum Series is Faria's revolutionary domed glass Fog-Resistant lens. This specialized lens effectively sheds condensation and resists scratching, providing clear visibility even in the challenging marine environment.

The Fuel Level gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the meter to ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. The resistance of the sending unit changes in response to various factors such as pressure, temperature, etc.

As the resistance of the sending unit varies, the amount of current allowed to flow through it to ground also changes. This change in current deflects the meter, accurately displaying the level of fuel in the tank.

The Platinum 2" Fuel Level Gauge has a hole size of 2.0625" (53mm), making it compatible with standard gauge openings.
