Using electronic technology, this tachometer accurately measures engine RPM by counting pulses generated by various sources such as the ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. It requires a connection to +12VDC, Ground, and one of the signal sources mentioned above. By setting the switch on the back to the correct position and selecting the appropriate tachometer, you can ensure that the tachometer receives the correct number of pulses per engine revolution.

The Faria Beede Chesapeake White SS Tachometer has a hole size of 3.375" (85mm) and is equipped with an anti-scratch glass lens to ensure durability. It operates on a 12VDC negative ground system but can be adapted for 24VDC systems if needed.
