The Digital Yacht IAISTX Plus Class B AIS Transponder with wireless interface and NMEA 2000, model ZDIGIAISTXPL, is a high-performance AIS transponder designed for boaters who use iPad or Android tablets for navigation tasks. This transponder allows you to send your boat position and identity data to other AIS equipped vessels and provides a wireless interface for mobile devices. It is equipped with the latest HF AIS technology for superior performance.

The IAISTX Plus is compatible with popular iOS and Android apps such as Navionics, iSailor, Weather4D, SailGrib, iNavX, TimeZero, and more. These apps can display received data from other AIS equipped vessels, offering a detailed overlay of local AIS targets updated in real-time. You can click on a target to view identity and collision avoidance data such as CPA (closest point of approach) and TCPA (time to closest point of approach).

The transponder features a secure, password-protected, local Wi-Fi network, allowing AIS and GPS data to be sent to compatible apps. It has LED status indicators for wireless connection, data, status, time out, power, and silent mode. The internal Wi-Fi antenna provides coverage for boats up to 60ft in length.

The IAISTX Plus has an NMEA 2000 interface for seamless integration with modern plotters, instruments, and multi-function displays, providing AIS functionality. It supports all the latest target types such as ATONs (Aids to Navigation) and AIS MOB (Man Overboard) devices.

Installation is simple and straightforward. Just connect power (12/24vDC), mount the supplied external GPS antenna, and connect to a separate dedicated VHF antenna or the boat's existing VHF antenna using compatible AIS-VHF antenna splitters like the SPL1500 or SPL2000.
