The Digi PortServer TS MEI serial server RS-232/422/485 is a high-performance serial-to-Ethernet connectivity solution. The PortServer TS MEI allows you to easily connect multiple serial devices to your network. It combines the benefits of data networking with reliable asynchronous connectivity, delivering simple Ethernet connections for all your serial devices. With Digi's patented RealPort technology, you can establish a secure connection between the host and networked serial device by creating a local COM or TTY port on the host computer. This eliminates the need for a host adapter and enables software applications to work with networked device servers.

Featuring data security via SSHv2, port buffering, and full SNMP management, the PortServer TS MEI is ideal for applications like console management where device management and monitoring are critical.
