Arco BI-1603 Marine Battery Isolator for 10-350A Alternators

The Arco Marine BI-1603 is a reliable inboard/outboard battery isolator designed to handle 1 alternator, 3 batteries, and a maximum of 160A. It is rated for use with alternators ranging from 10 to 350 amps on 12, 24, or 32-volt negative ground systems.

Features:

• Can handle 1 alternator, 3 batteries, and 160A max
• Solid-state inboard and outboard battery isolators allow electrical current to flow in one direction only, preventing higher-charged batteries from discharging into lower-charged batteries
• Both batteries are automatically charged in proportion to their needs whenever the engine is running
• When used with selector switches, there is no need to change switch position for charging both batteries
• Provides proportioning of output or charging current from the alternator to the batteries as required, regardless of switch position

NOTE: Battery Isolators cannot be used on 12-volt charging systems with 24-volt trolling motors or outboard engines with rectifier-regulator charging systems.
