With a low 1.5:1.0 SWR ratio from 159-162 MHz, this antenna ensures reliable and clear communication for marine safety.

Featuring a durable construction and superior performance, this 8' AIS antenna is compatible with all AIS transponders. It is equipped with powerful brass radiators and soldered connections for optimal signal transmission. The antenna also incorporates a power directing ferrite choke bead and a high gloss urethane finish for enhanced durability.

The 316 stainless steel ferrule and standard 1"-14 threaded base make installation easy and secure. The antenna comes with a gold factory-attached mini-UHF female connector, eliminating the need for soldering. A screw-on adapter is provided for simple connection to the radio.

For added convenience, the antenna includes 25' of low-loss, tinned braid, foil shielded, UV stable RG-8X marine cable. This cable ensures minimal signal loss and maintains signal integrity even in harsh marine environments.
