The OLAS EXTENDER increases the length of the 'virtual tether' between the OLAS transmitters (OLAS Tag and OLAS Float-On) and the OLAS Receiver (OLAS CORE, OLAS GUARDIAN). In the event of a transmitter going missing, all synced receivers (excluding the EXTENDER) will sound a loud audible alarm within 2 to 4 seconds, alerting the crew of an MOB incident.

In addition to the audible alarm, the ACR OLAS Mobile App records the latitude and longitude of the incident using the device's GPS. It assists the crew in the MOB recovery process by providing clear visual signals and bearing data, directing them to the exact GPS location where the MOB occurred.

The EXTENDER can also be used to cover areas where transmitter signals may be blocked, expanding the applications of the OLAS MOB System. With its increased range of coverage on larger vessels, the EXTENDER opens up a wide range of potential usage scenarios for the ACR OLAS MOB System, making it suitable for both recreational and commercial vessels.
