1. Warranty Period
Standard Warranty: All GentleJet products carry a 12-month limited warranty from the date of original purchase.
Extended Warranty: If you register your product on our official website within 30 days of purchase, you will receive an additional one year of coverage (for a total of 2 years of warranty).
2. What Is Covered
GentleJet will repair or replace (at our discretion) any product that exhibits defects in materials or workmanship under normal household use. This limited warranty covers defects in key components and manufacturing, including but not limited to:
- Motors, pumps, sensors, and other electronic components.
- Charging systems (e.g., USB charging ports or built-in rechargeable batteries, where applicable).
- Any defects in assembly or manufacturing that prevent normal operation of the product.
3. What Is Not Covered
The limited warranty does not cover issues or damage caused by factors outside of defects in manufacturing. For example, it will not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (including cosmetic damage like scratches, fading, or discoloration from regular use).
- Consumable items or accessories (such as soap, essential oils, filters, or external batteries) that accompany or are used with the product.
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or improper storage (e.g. dropping the device, overfilling beyond capacity, or using incompatible/thick liquids that can clog the dispenser).
- Damage due to improper cleaning or maintenance, or use that is not in accordance with the product’s user manual instructions.
- Use of the product in a commercial or industrial setting (unless expressly stated in writing that the product is designed for that purpose). The standard warranty is intended for household use only.
- Any unauthorized modifications to the product or repairs attempted by third parties not authorized by GentleJet.
- Damage occurring during or due to shipping after the product has been delivered to the customer (for instance, if you ship the item elsewhere or transport it improperly after purchase).
4. Customer Responsibilities
To validate your warranty claim and help us process it smoothly, please be ready to provide the following information/documentation:
-
Proof of Purchase: A receipt, invoice, or order confirmation showing the date and place of original purchase (or the order ID if purchased online). If you are unsure of your product’s exact model or color, your order number or invoice can help us identify the item.
-
Description of the Issue: A clear description of the problem you are experiencing. Be as specific as possible about what is not working or how the defect is manifesting. We may request supplemental evidence such as photos or videos of the issue to better understand and diagnose the problem.
(Having these details ready will speed up the verification of your claim.)
5. Warranty Claim Process
If you encounter a defect covered by this warranty, please follow these steps to file a claim:
-
Contact GentleJet Support: Send an email to support@ceshowroom.com with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue. Use a subject line that references “Warranty Claim” and include your order number or product model in the email.
-
Assessment: Our GentleJet customer support team will review your warranty request. They may follow up with you to ask for additional details or documentation (such as more detailed photos, troubleshooting steps, etc.) to accurately assess the situation.
-
Resolution: If your claim is approved as a valid warranty issue, we will proceed with one of the following resolutions (at GentleJet’s discretion, based on what we determine is the most appropriate solution):
-
Repair or Replacement: We will either repair the defective product or send you a replacement unit of the same model (subject to availability). In some cases, the replacement might be a refurbished unit in like-new condition or an equivalent model if the original product is no longer available. Our goal is to ensure you have a working product that meets the original specifications.
-
Returns & Shipping: In most cases, we try to resolve warranty claims by troubleshooting or reviewing photos/videos, so you may not need to ship the product back. If a return is deemed necessary, our support team will provide you with return instructions. For warranty claims approved within the first 6 months of the original purchase, GentleJet will cover any return shipping costs. For claims made after 6 months, the customer may be responsible for part or all of the return shipping cost, depending on the situation. We will clarify this during the claim process.
-
Coverage of Replacements: Any replacement product provided under warranty will continue to be covered under the original warranty period only for the time remaining (i.e., the warranty period does not restart or extend anew with the replacement). For example, if a product under a 12-month warranty is replaced in the 10th month, the replacement is warrantied for the remaining 2 months of the original warranty period.
Throughout the claim process, our team will keep you informed and guide you on the next steps. Warranty claims are typically resolved as quickly as possible once approved.
6. Limitations of Liability
This GentleJet limited warranty is subject to the following important limitations and conditions:
-
Original Country Only: Warranty coverage is valid only in the country of original purchase. (For example, if you purchased the product in the USA, the warranty service is available within the USA.)
-
Original Purchaser Only: Coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product. The warranty cannot be transferred or assigned to any subsequent owner of the product.
-
Authorized Retailers Only: This warranty is valid only for products purchased directly from GentleJet or from GentleJet’s authorized retailers or resellers. Products bought from unauthorized sellers, third-party marketplace vendors, or through second-hand sales (such as person-to-person transactions or online auctions) are not eligible for warranty coverage. (In other words, to ensure you have warranty protection, always buy GentleJet products from official or authorized sources.)
-
Limited Remedy – Repair/Replace Only: GentleJet’s responsibility under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective product, as described above. This warranty does not cover any other costs, expenses, or damages.
-
No Indirect or Consequential Damages: This warranty covers the product itself and does not cover indirect losses or damages you might incur. For instance, GentleJet is not liable for any personal inconvenience, loss of use, loss of or damage to property, lost time, or any other incidental or consequential damages that may result from a defect in the product. (Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in certain cases.)
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state or country to country, so the above conditions apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Warranty Void Conditions
In addition to the limitations above, certain conditions or misuse will void this warranty. GentleJet’s warranty will no longer be valid, and we will be unable to honor a claim, if any of the following is evident:
- The product has been altered, tampered with, or repaired by anyone not authorized by GentleJet. (This includes disassembling the unit, modifying internal parts, or using non-GentleJet replacement components.)
- The product was used with non-recommended or incompatible liquids/accessories. For example, using a soap dispenser with extremely thick, oil-based liquids that cause clogs, or using an aroma diffuser with corrosive liquids not intended for the device, can cause damage not covered by the warranty. Only use the types of liquids or accessories as instructed in the user manual for each product.
- Any safety labels, serial numbers, or identification markings on the product have been removed, defaced, or made illegible. (This is often an indicator of tampering or that the product may not have been obtained through authorized channels, and such products will not be warrantied.)
- There is evidence of misuse or abuse beyond normal household use – for instance, signs that the product was submerged in water (beyond its design), exposed to extreme conditions, or used in a manner outside the scope of the user manual. Using the product for purposes it is not intended for, or in abnormal situations, will void the warranty.
If the warranty is voided due to any of the above conditions, GentleJet will not be able to offer free repair or replacement, and any attempted claim may be denied upon inspection of the product.
