The Arco 5375 Merc/Mar Starter & Charger is a high-quality replacement starter for Mercury/Mariner outboard engines. This starter is compatible with 50-85 horsepower engines and is designed to fit 10-tooth drive gears. It is ideal for use in both Mercury/Mariner and 65 horsepower jet engines.

ARCO advises that a fully charged battery is necessary for optimum performance and to prevent damage to the starter and starter solenoid. It is also recommended to clean all connections to prevent corrosion and resistance in the starting circuit.
