The Faria Beede 32840 Euro Black Tachometer Hourmeter is a high-quality tachometer designed for use with gas outboard engines. The tachometer features a perimeter-lighted black dial with bold white graphics, black aluminum bezel, contoured white pointer, and flat glass lens. It is an electronic tachometer that works by counting pulses generated by the ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. The tachometer is hooked up to +12VDC, Ground, and one of the signal sources listed.

The Faria Beede 32840 Euro Black Tachometer Hourmeter has a 4" diameter and a hole size of 3.375" (85mm). It has an anti-scratch glass lens and is designed for use with 12 VDC negative ground systems, but can be adapted for 24 VDC systems.
